PMSC Member Volunteering at the Pike Market Food Bank

Natural History Presentation with Ranger Pat
May 18th is the 45th anniversary of the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens. On Friday, May 16, at 10am, learn about this catastrophic event from Pat Pilcher, who has spent 30 years working as a forestry technician, park ranger, and naturalist guide.
Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration
Join us Friday, May 16, at 1:15pm, as we learn more about the local history all around us. The AAPI community has long been an important part of the story of Pike Place Market. We will also enjoy a delicious lunch and a live musical performance.
Field Trip: Threads Club goes to the Goodwill Bins
Threads Club is on the move! Join us Thursday, May 22, at 9:00am, on an adventure to Seattle's Outlet Goodwill, AKA "The Bins," where clothes are sold by the pound. Hunt for affordable materials for your crafting projects or inspiration for the next one!
Field Trip: Seattle Asian Art Museum
On Friday, May 23, at 1:15pm we will leave PMSC to visit the beautiful Seattle Asian Art Museum (SAAM) in Volunteer Park. The SAAM's collections of Asian art span many centuries and mediums. Currently, they have a special piece by famed artist Ai Weiwei. We will meet at PMSC and go together to SAAM on #10 bus.
